Santos taught his son Allan the trade by working alongside him from day one, passing down the skills, values, and work ethic needed to run a successful landscaping business on an island as unique as Nantucket.
Today, Allan leads the company with the same dedication, precision, and pride that his father built it on, while Santos remains actively involved, ensuring the standards set in 2005 continue to guide every project.

When I started this company back in 2005, I built it with a simple mission: to create a landscaping business rooted in hard work, honesty, and genuine care for every property we touch. Nearly twenty years later, that mission remains the heart of everything we do.
I've always believed that landscaping is more than mowing lawns or trimming hedges — it's about building long-lasting relationships and bringing out the full potential of each property. Over the years, many of our clients have become like family, and watching their homes and outdoor spaces transform under our care has been one of the greatest rewards of my career.
Although the company proudly carries my son Allan's name, he learned this trade by working right beside me. From day one, I taught him the skills, the values, and the work ethic needed to run a successful landscaping business on an island as unique as Nantucket. Today, Allan leads the company with the same level of dedication, precision, and pride that I built it on.
I still work with the team and remain involved in the business, making sure the standards I set in 2005 continue to guide every project we take on. Nantucket is a special place, and every property here has its own character, challenges, and potential. Our job and our passion is to bring out the best in each one.

Meet Allan
Growing up on Nantucket, I was raised around the sound of lawn mowers, the smell of fresh-cut grass, and the sight of my dad, Santos, working tirelessly to build the landscaping company that would later carry my name. From a young age, I watched him turn long days into opportunities — not just to earn a living, but to make a difference in how our island looks and feels.
I'm proud to say that everything I know in this field comes from him. He taught me the value of showing up early, doing the job right the first time, and treating every client's property as if it were our own. My dad is the true backbone and brains behind this business, and I'm honored every day to continue the work he started in 2005.
To build on the foundation he created, I learned more from UMass Green School, where I studied turf management, horticulture, and sustainable landscaping practices. That education, combined with years of hands-on experience working beside my dad, has shaped the landscaper and the person I am today.
